Note: Based on the latest results from the International Comparison Program (of February 26, 2008),
Bangladesh ranks 124 out of 148 countries in terms of PPP weighted GDP per capital. While this
implies a relative worsening compared to the latest UNDP data (where Bangladesh ranked 138 out of
174 countries), the comparability may be biased by the difference in number of countries compared.
